What is Kamba?
Kamba turns your dimensions into a custom furniture build plan. You describe the piece and your space, and you get a structurally validated plan with a cut list, shopping list, hardware, and step-by-step assembly instructions, as a downloadable PDF. €1.99 per plan.
What furniture can I build?
Kamba currently builds shelving units and alcove built-ins, sized to your exact space. More furniture types are coming.
Are the plans actually reliable?
Yes. Every plan is validated for structural soundness and buildability before you receive it: tip-over stability, load capacity, board-fit (it fits on real boards), wall-anchoring where needed, and beginner-safe cuts. Kamba won't generate a plan it can't validate as safe and buildable.
Do I need woodworking experience?
No. Plans are designed for beginners by default: simple cuts (no plunge cuts), clear step-by-step instructions, and only tools and hardware you can actually buy.
What tools and materials do I need?
Each plan lists the exact cut list, shopping list, and hardware you need. Materials and hardware are real and buyable on your market, never invented or hard to find.
Do I have to cut the wood myself?
That's your choice. If you want to cut it yourself, the plan gives you everything you need for accurate cuts: exact dimensions, a clear cut list, and step-by-step guidance. We recommend having your boards cut to size at a DIY store, which is more precise and saves time. Either way, the plan includes the full cut list to hand the store, plus the complete shopping list of materials and hardware to build and assemble the piece.
How much does it cost?
€1.99 per plan, one-off. No subscription. Payment is handled securely by Paddle.
Can I build in inches?
Yes. Kamba works in centimeters or inches, and adapts materials and hardware to your region.
Is the furniture safe?
Safety is built in. Kamba flags when wall-anchoring is required (for units 120 cm and taller, or for a child's room) and includes the anti-tip hardware in your plan.
What languages is Kamba available in?
English, French, and German.
Can I download my plan again later?
Yes. Your purchased plans stay in your account and can be re-downloaded anytime.
